Protecting Your Wealth in Good Times and Bad
Many of the stuff that are in this book have been mentioned in his other books but you might still want to check it out. I love Richard Ferri's books. This is one of them. If you are clueless about financial investment and want to get started on it, then read this book. Also recommended are All about Index Funds, Serious Money, and The ETF Book. Unlike books that promote sales pitch and sell garbages like (IBD: Investor's Business Daily or even Wall Street Journal) Ferri provides sound studies done on investment strategies, sound strategies, expectation and mindset. However it does not cover all the story. You still need to understand our debt-based economic structure and fractional banking monetary system to avoid heavy losses during severe recession or depression. I recommend The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve and Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Coming Economic Collapse (Lynn Sonberg Books) for that.

This market represents lucrative opportunities for companies that understand how these customers think, act, and make purchasing decisions. Family wealth : keeping it in the family : how family members and their advisers preserve human, intellectual, and financial assets for generations
The landmark book that changed the way exceptional families think about their heritage, their wealth, and their legacy to future generations-- now revised and expanded. Every family, looking at the next generation, hopes to confer advantages that are more than just material and financial--to inculcate character and leadership, to inspire creativity and enterprise, to help all family members find and follow their individual callings, and to avoid the financial dependency and loss of initiative that can all too often be an unwanted consequence of financial success. Yet many families never succeed in realizing that vision, much less sustaining it for three, four, or five generations and beyond. James Hughes has thought deeply about these challenges, and his insights are at once practical and profound. For more than three decades, he has personally guided multiple generations of families in creating strategies to preserve their human and intellectual capital as well as their financial assets. His teachings synthesize insights from psychology, anthropology, political history, philosophy, economic theory, and the law, with examples ranging from Aristotle to cutting-edge social science theory. His ideas have been taken up by numerous exceptional families, by their advisers, and by scores of authors, practitioners, and academics who have found value in the methods he pioneered. The first edition of this book, privately published, became a word-of-mouth classic. Now, Hughes has...

What They Didn't Teach You In School About Money
You went to school and you learned about various subjects. You learned about math, science, history, how to read and write along with other things. Wonderful! However, what the school system neglected to teach you about is the subject of MONEY. They never taught you what money truly represents; where it comes from, how to manage it, how to invest it and how to save it. Sure they may have reviewed some of the basics, but of course that wasn’t enough and as a result you fail at the money game. You don’t know how to save or invest and you are over leveraged on your credit cards. In fact according to statistics the average U.S. household credit card debt stands at $15,185 with 45 million Americans having outstanding balances of $10,000 or more. Practically all of these people went through the school system yet they are financially in trouble and in debt because they were never truly taught about money in school. In his book entitled “What They Didn’t Teach You in School About Money” Omar Johnson gives you the necessary information that will enable you to overcome your money ignorance. You will learn how to manage your money, how to invest and save it, how to make more of it and much much more.
